Not yet. Thats still like 2 months away. March is still too early, and i was trying to see if we could plan something around when the younger guys had spring break, so they can come out too.
E town or karting would be on the table. But i need to think of cheaper ideas.

If E town happens to have a street night that falls during spring break we should have a meet up there. Free to get in, one free pass down the track, and we can watch the euro and import people fight in the parking lot over who has more stance and thus more swag.
The best part is, none of this is made up!

I would totally go to etown just to watch that unfold. I love a good import euro fight. Especially when they tag team against the mustang/camaro resistance. Lets just hope the crotch rocketeers dont come by. They think their 15K rpms are all that...
In otherwords. You let me know when your going and ill see if i can gather a few guys to go down too regardless of an oppo meet or not haha.

Last time I was there I saw a real evo 6 and some RHD toyota midsize sedan we never got. As well as a LS swapped miata that ran a 10 sec pass on drag radials.

Oddly enough, i saw two RHD Toyota Aristo's last summer. One had speedhunters stickers all over it but it was a drift car, and another one at a larger meet.
Never have i seen a rdh evo. Thats sick!
One of the chipotle meets had two red miatas, one that was turbo, and the other a v8 swap. I remember their license plates were rather clever too. But when they peeled out, they were fast! Those miatas got some spunk! That was also the meet an R32 showed up. An r32 showed up at chipotle! more than once! He never stayed more than 30 minutes though and immediately gathered a massive crowd.

someone at my old college used to come in a R32 skyline, no idea if it was a GT-R or a GTS-T, it was kind of a piece, but it was a skyline.

No way! oddly enough, some kid at my college had a skyline too. It was an r33 though, and not a gtr. But it was blue and was awesome. Best car on campus. This car is very high on my list of wants.

You should come to the Eat sleep race meet in somerset this year, if its at the same place. They had lots of questionably legal cars... I saw more skylines here than ever in my life. My first ever s15 too. Just out of shot to the right.
Nj certainly is home to many of these rare beasts.

Somerset is only a half hour from me, so I could do that.
I usually try to stay away from these parking lot meetups because theirs always some asshole who has to do burnouts or something in the parking lot and the cops show up. The last one I ever went to, and I never stayed I just coasted through, was behind the lowes cinema on route 1 right by route 18. I saw anything from clapped out CRX's to six figure AMG's and everything in between. It eventually got shot down because the movie theater security didn't like them hanging out there.
I don't know how familiar you are with route 1 on the edison/new brunswick boarder since you're up north but. Do you remember the scene from 2 fast 2 furious where the cops surround the warehouse and all of a sudden hundreds of cars come pouring out and its a mass scramble? Well, imagine its 11:30 at night and I'm coming home from fords where I was working on the merc at my uncles place. I am just passing the theater as a mass flood of cars are pouring onto route 1 from the theater parking lot, and I see at least 30 cops in the lot. I ended up getting followed by a 911 off my exit. Apparently, someone who was there and I went to high school with told me the cops were lining up on the bridge and all came in at once and chased everyone out.

This meet was/and will be sanctioned. They had taken the garden state exhibition center place over for the meet. Most of the meets i go to are sanctioned. Except the chipotle meets, but those are pretty chill regardless.
Im not very familiar with that area, as i have no reason to be down there. But that sounds insane. And stupid on the police's part to scare everyone out of there. They know they are gonna run, so why not just show up and ask them to leave without spooking them.
Although, i have the urge to want to see that actually happen in real life. Tell me that doesnt just sound ridiculously awesome. Imagine the noise haha.
Its always a risk going out to any car meets cause these fools, but i think its worth it. Most of them are good about not putting yours or other cars in danger. They are just being tools with their burnouts.
